As a Game Designer with a strong background in Hip-Hop, Craig Tinsley (aka rapper Stuby Kas) is the founder of Fresh Dope Games and the Rap Quest series of mobile games.
Originally exposed to both Rap music and video games when both were coming into prominence (late 1980s), Craig primarily seeks to fuse these two grandiose passions with Fresh Dope Games.
Rap Quest was the first proof-of-concept for a Rap Career Simulation game that really tried to break down the abstract concepts of putting works together. An Idle RPG, this game proved that, without a marketing budget, the Rap gamer market can be brought out of the digital woodworks to show up for the culture.
Rap Quest 2 is the first fully self-developed game by Craig, which builds out more features and functionality in comparison to the original. Animation, sound, and many more systems are at play with this iteration (day/night, touring, in-app purchases, etc.). Development of this project continues until the game takes off.
Bizzy Beez is a flappy-type game made to teach Construct 3 game development to youth.
Rap Quest 2 has much more to come, but in the meanwhile new projects have been drawn up that will continue to keep the catalog fresh and dope!
There's a game about fitting trees in a forest, a game about planets evolving, a game about STUNTIN', an endless runner with a twist, platformers, RPGs, and many more!
The next step is to build out a strong team (Artists, Designers, Developers, Marketing & Business Development pros) so the games we make can be of even higher quality. The first way to help me with that is to join my Patreon by clicking the button below.
